anyway, infernal affairs rocked. :D yay comrade loyalty movie screening at char's house was a blast. it kicked off with char and i lan-diao-ing/rotting in her room on her bed while she snatched the blanket and i lay on/knocked down (ALL) her toys. :D reading, talking, checking each other's phones, dozing off AND realizing that char looks exactly like her duck. :D haha, then aly FINALLY arrived! (we spied her from upstairs and took our time opening the door for her.)
then began the official movie screening! infernal affairs I, II and III! :D char had an extremely difficult time trying to decide if shawn yue or edison chen was better looking. aly prefers edison. :D in the end, the conclusion was: ERIC TSANG! (the bulldog. :D) HAHA. and we grieved over the tragic deaths of heroes WONG SIR and CHAN WING YAN!! omg it was SUUPPPERRRRR sad! especially when they played the eerie music. and my! the plot was darn intelligent. and the filming was exceptionally artistic/abstract, especially in the third movie, where andy lau's character keesiao-ed. :D interestingly enough, the plot got too complicated for char and she fell asleep. while aly and i dilligently followed throughout, trying to understand the story, even pausing to check the dictionary for the meaning of "xun zhi"!! :D moral of the story: learn morse code, don't work for the hong kong police force (what happened to the academy!), don't ever be a mole (mole as in undercover agent), don't mess with the mafia (!)/big four/mr ngai, don't look like a bulldog, and the classic one from char: don't ever go to hong kong. :D
in between the first and the second movie, we made INSTANT NOODLES for lunch! haha aly and i are the pros. whereas char doesn't mind eating UNCOOKED, BROKEN noodles. :D but she makes nice jelly. :D and buys extremely fresh and un-broken tomato flavored twisties and sour cream and onion ruffles. other food served during the screenings included candy empire lollipops, chupachups (is this how it's spelt?) lollipops which taste best when pulled out of the mouth and wasabi peas. incidentally, char popped one into her mouth just as something (in the movie) exploded. and she started gasping, "hot! hot!" :D HAHA. we thought that she was talking about the flames on screen! :D
oh and we watched some of the movie productions' behind the scenes. :D and char eagerly anticipated interviews with singaporean calafare tay ping hui out of national pride. :D of course, there was no such thing.
okay now i've got to go. :D
bye.
