MY BEST FRIEND'S GIRL by DOROTHY KOOMSON is the bestest bestest book ever. Really and truly. (in tegan-speak, the little girl in the book. :D)
okay just go read it. it's soooo poignant, so touching, so sweet, so comrade loyalty-ish! the language may not be as witty and colorful as Vladimir Nabokov's Lolita, (which i put on hold becuase my best friend's girl was due soon), but the themes and the larger than life characters make the book such a delightful read!
and the little girl, Tegan, is SUPER adorable!

"Does he know she's gone to heaven to be with Jesus and the angels?" Tegan always made Adele's death sound as though she's gone to join a pop band, like we could expect an impromptu performance from them featuring a special chorus sung by Adele Brannon.

by the way, aly, ron pronounced aeroplane correctly when he imitated the L-plane poem! :D and NO, francis ng's english sucked, even in the channel u version. "farn-keu for dee orpohtieeunitee." (thank you for the opportunity) HAHA. oh and he pronounced "aviate" as "ahveearht"!!
i think the english parts aren't dubbed, only the cantonese parts. but it's still much nicer watching in cantonese! i've been watching the last few episodes on youtube. haha.
