i had a rather lan-diao yet enjoyable christmas. and im anticipating another lan-diao yet enjoyable new year this coming sunday/monday. :D
the morning of christmas eve was spent rushing around with my mum trying to get last minute presents and food for the party afterward. we then proceeded to benjamin's house for a very lan-diao barbeqcue! where the adults hogged the mahjong tables and us younger ones were left to lan-diao and gossip about relatives. and drink a lot. christmas eve was barcardi breezers and heineken from the bottles. christmas was old nick rum and sprite. (or old nick plain. in secret. :D 16% alcohol content.) well i must say that im a genius. haha cos im the inventor and manufacturer and CEO of old NICK. it's yummy. boxing day was coffee liquors. :D talk about themes.
okay anyway, after an afternoon of bbq on C. eve, we went home to (open presents) and prepare for midnight mass. and the most lan-diao thing was that almost everyone was in black at church!!! haha i wore this tight black top from projectshop and MNG black pants. and my sister was in black. and my aunt. and my uncle. and a certain PSP present during mass. :D went for supper after that and slept at around 4 plus. :D
then on christmas day. we finally got our turn at mahjong. actually it was still very lan-diao. we just sat near the adults looking on and waiting to take over in case anyone needed to go to the toilet. the men's table was the funniest!! especially since my oldest uncle was bullying everyone and literally fuming at how everyone else was making fun of him (like HOHOHOHOASSHO!) and imitating him! though he doesnt really understand english. but i learnt many important mahjong lessons. :D and i can safely say that i had a holiday job. i earned 10 bucks playing for my aunt!
boxing day. mahjong lesson day. (and gossip/revenge plotting day.) it was just us kids playing the whole day with two adults guiding. haha. now i play "chinese mahjong. must play with the head. very tricky." no eyes. :D hahaha. and we kept making fun of tuition teachers and our oldest uncle. and my mum/aunt plotted very sinister revenge on him! haha. BOYCOTT. hmm and benjamin stayed over. played mahjong after TITS till 1 plus!
im surprised i still take one hour plus to fall asleep even under the influence of so much alcohol. oh well. an improvement. i take two hours without. :D
