1. SINGAPORE 每 CAPE TOWN (Meals on Board)
Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport for your flight to Cape Town.
Note
If you are flying by Singapore Airlines, you will assemble at the airport on the night of Day 1. However, the flight only departs after midnight.
2. CAPE TOWN (Ostrich Lunch/Dinner)
Upon arrival, embark on a city tour and drive past Castle of Good Hope, the restored fort of Cape Town, City Hall, House of Parliament and the historical Malay Quarters. Transfer to the cable car station where you will ascend to the top of the famous Table Mountain if weather permits. Thereafter, proceed to Signal Hill to enjoy the view of Cape Town.
3. CAPE TOWN (Breakfast/Lobster Lunch/Abalone Dinner)
Enjoy a full-day tour of the Cape Peninsula to the Atlantic suburbs, Sea Point, Clifton, Camps Bay as well as Hout Bay, where you will enjoy a leisure boat ride to Seal Island if weather permits. After lunch, travel along False Bay to the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve before reaching Cape Point, where you can ascend to the summit to admire the spectacular views. Continue to Boulders Beach to catch a glimpse of African penguins. You will also pass by Simon＊s Town, an old naval base, Muizenberg and Fish Hoek.
4. CAPE TOWN (Breakfast/Western Lunch)
Escape to the beauty and tranquillity of Stellenbosch, the 2nd oldest town in South Africa. Tour around and sample wines at a wine estate. Visit the Cheetah Reserve Centre at Spier and for a small donation, you may get your picture taken a cheetah, the fastest animal in the world. Proceed to Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, the entertainment centre of Cape Town, for some shopping.
5. CAPE TOWN 每 JOHANNESBURG 每 PRETORIA 每 SUN CITY (Breakfast/Lunch)
Transfer to the airport for a domestic flight to Johannesburg. Continue to Pretoria, South Africa＊s administrative capital, to see the Voortrekker Monument. Drive past Church Square and Union Building, the site of the inauguration of Presidents Mbeki and Nelson Mandela. Proceed to Soweto Township, the site of the tragic 1976 riots. Despite its crowded, chaotic conditions, there is still a tangible sense of community in these neighbourhoods that you cannot find in the orderly, walled suburbs. After which, proceed to Sun City, a premier holiday resort in South Africa.
6. SUN CITY (Breakfast)
Sun City is a photographer＊s dream come true with its magnificent architecture and beautiful landscapes. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy a game of golf at any one of the 2 championship courses here or try watersports at Water World, a man-made lake, at your own expense. In the evening, you can catch a Sun City show at your own expense.
7. SUN CITY 每 GAME RESERVE (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
After breakfast, you will transfer to a game reserve. Spend time at leisure before you set out in an open-top bush vehicle for a guided game drive in the late afternoon. View and photograph abundant wildlife at close range and enjoy the breathtaking African sunset while your ranger explains the animals＊ survival tactics in the wilderness.
8. GAME RESERVE 每 JOHANNESBURG (Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)
Embark on an early morning game drive before you transfer back to Johannesburg. After lunch, proceed to Gold Reef City, a reconstruction of Johannesburg during the gold rush era. The tour includes a trip down to an old gold mineshaft where you can learn how gold was extracted.
9. JOHANNESBURG 每 SINGAPORE (Breakfast/Meals on Board)
This morning, visit a local flea market where you can do some last-minute shopping before you transfer to the airport for your flight home.
10. ARRIVE IN SINGAPORE
Continue to Boulders Beach to catch a glimpse of African penguins.
